Economic Development
W.E.B. DuBois Community Development Corporation provides the necessary tools for citizens to take part in commerce at all levels, impacting both the local and state economies. Growth opportunities are offered to the community through employment and training.
Through the Microenterprise Center, a business incubator provides training and support needed for growth to emerging businesses. A workforce reentry program, called Career Start, is offered in collaboration with Wake Technical Community College.
