Mt. Carmel Learning Centre started January 2003 in the slum of Matopeni Embaski Division Nairobi East lands district. This was the answer to the call which was in me as I was working as a manager of a certain orphanage, The Lord called me to expand passion and love to the less fortunate families within Matopeni slum. It was impossible to implement this vision alone. I involved closer friends who had a burden for the less fortunate children and we formed the first Mt Carmel board.
